Sagres is at the most western point of Portugal. They say this is where the land ends and the sea begins.
The village of Sagres is surrounded by the sea, what remains is the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, protected land that survives almost intact, where you can see the sun, beaches, mountains and trails with stories of those who passed by.
Here you can do a little bit of everything, especially being in contact with nature: surf, puddle, dolphin, bird and whale watching; walk, bike or jeep; watching the sunrise or the sunset or just soak your feet in the cool water of the sea.
We taste fresh fish and seafood, like the sea, a vegetable soup or a Portuguese snack at one of the local restaurants.
The old fences are a set of renovated houses that were formerly occupied by a family that was dedicated to agriculture and as such were made up of haystack, animal house and main house. The renovation project was done carefully, leaving in view materials used at the time, with the exception of comfort aspects.
It is located in a very calm area that invites you to rest but at the same time close to the centre of the village and the beach of the barrel. In the morning we are presented with the chirping of birds, in the afternoon we can relax on the patio, watch the sunset, in an invitation to a well-slept night with the comfort of a careful decoration.
These are different holidays where the smell of the sea mixes with the smell of the mountains.
