Cercas Velhas is a group of renovated houses, formerly occupied by a family that was dedicated to agriculture. There was the haystack, animal house, barn and main house. The renovation project, from 2014 to 2016, resulted in 5 independent rooms, with private bathrooms and kitchenettes or equipped kitchens. The renovation was carried out carefully, respecting the original layout of the houses and leaving visible the materials used at the time, always taking into account comfort, aesthetics and providing a calm and relaxing environment so that those who visit us can rest. Located in Sagres, at the westernmost point of Portugal, they say it is where the land ends and the sea begins. This town is surrounded by the sea and close to the Costa Vicentina Natural Park – a protected land that has survived almost intact over the years, where you can enjoy the sunset, enjoy the beaches, mountains and trails with stories of those who passed by there. . Here, you can do a little bit of everything, especially being in contact with nature: surfing and windsurfing, SUP, dolphin and whale watching, bird watching, walking, cycling or off-road or simply enjoying of the white sand beaches. In this area, we are treated to the chirping of birds in the morning and, in the afternoon, we relax on the patio watching the sunset followed by a good night's sleep in the comfort of the carefully decorated accommodation.
